Socks provide good support. Just wish they were higher than just over the ankle. Crew length would be better. have to wear thin socks over them when wearing boots of any kind.

Supresses Swelling But Leaves Severe Indention on Skin Because of Thick Top Band
These Medium Support Compression Socks help suppress swelling of feet and ankles. The BIG con is the ribbed band at the top of sock is double thick so if worn for several hours it digs into your skin and will leave a severe indention above your ankle. Therefore, I would NOT recommend these for the elderly with thin skin or diabetics.

Love these socks. I have trouble with my ankles swelling, especially when I am traveling. These socks help to control the swelling and I will continue to use them in the future.

Very supportative
I started walking for excercise back in May, as the months went on the toes on my right foot started falling asleep. I ordered these support socks and it has made a world of difference. My toes don't fall asleep anymore. I also wear them to the mall when I go shopping. I am considering ordering a few more pair.
