It is thicker than a standard Nylon/Lycra Sock, with additional thickness around the entire foot area, giving a new level of comfort in a support sock. The thickness is about that of a traditional athletic sock, so no need to worry about larger sized shoes.

Thank you Moshe for getting a sock like your 1049's style that was discontinued some time ago. This sock is great for the working person that needs the thickness to comfort your feet and legs all day long. Missed the snow and the cold in these socks , but I like them already. I've got good calf muscles so the large seems to work down my calf and have to pull them up so I ordered the XL and they are a lot better. Thanks again DS,

PAINFREE LEGS
I ordered these for myself & a friend for whom I kept telling her about how my legs felt so much better when I wore them. She is still working as a caregiver & was having trouble with pain in her legs. Since she started wearing the stockings, her legs have been a lot better and do not ache her the way they were hurting her. She doesn't go anywhere without wearing the stockings.

Pleasantly supported
Great socks so far. They stay up, hold their shape and don't pinch behind the knee like others I have tried. Also seem to keep warmth and wick moisture.

Great Sock, toe box too small
This was my first experience with support socks. I am a 10, so I ordered the medium size. When I tried them on I did not notice the toe box being so tight. When I exercised in them they made my toes curl and were very uncomfortable. According to their website DSS does not take back worn socks, so I will give them to goodwill.
