It is thicker than a standard nylon/lycra sock (about the same thickness as a standard athletic sock) with additional thickness around the entire foot area, giving a new level of comfort in a support sock.

Good muscle support
I'm clumsy and have sprained my ankles and various muscles in my feet numerous times. These socks provide the support I need to continue exercising and taking zumba classes. They tend to be a little snug around the ankles.

Best Socks Ever
I really had my doubts, but when these socks were deliver and I put them on. OMG! I don't where any other sock now. Just wish you had socks just a little thinner so that I could where them for work in my dress shoes. Will defiantly order more.

The Coolmax Sports Compression Ankle Socks are great socks! For the past two months, my feet and ankles were swelling to rival the size of my upper thighs. I am so glad that I found Discount Surgical stockings and these Coolmax Sports Compression Ankle Socks. They reduce the swelling dramatically and keep my feet cool and dry. I can buy them in "small" (my shoe size is 5.5) and they fit perfectly. They wash well and retain their elasticity. As an added bonus, these socks are substantially more affordable than others that I found on the internet. I ordered additional Coolmax Sports Compression Ankle Socks and will reorder them when I need more.
